Moremi Safari Camp Reviews

  • "Amazing Experience!"
We just had the best time ever at Camp Moremi. Moremi was our second camp out of the 3 Desert and Delta camps we visited, and this was our favourite camp! From beginning to end, all the staff at Moremi made us feel at home. We were impressed by that everyone knew our names. A special big thanks goes out to Albert, Motibi and our guide Lets! Speaking of our guide, Lets really made an effort on every game drive. It was here (along with Leroo La Tau) we saw the biggest variety of animals. We saw a leopard in a tree in the beautiful sundown, wild dogs hunting and catching a prey, lioness hunting not catching a prey, a hippo running.. and many more memories that will stay with us for life!

  • "Exceptional Location and Staff"
This was the final stop on our tour of Botswana, and we feel as if we truly saved the best for last. We saw a leopard, lions, an owl during the day and for the grand finale a pack of 10 wild dogs hunted down a Impala on the hotel grounds right in front of us as we sat eating our breakfast. Under the supreme management of Albert and Ernie, the staff excelled in all areas. We would like to give a shout out to our guide OD and Mothibi and Kopano from the management team who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and unique.

  • "Camp Moremi Makes You Feel Like Family."
We just stayed at Camp Moremi (June 2016) and we were blown away. Didn't really know what to expect having never been to Botswana, the Delta or Africa before. Wow!! Upon arriving and being greeted by Ernny (he's a legend in Botswana, everyone knows this guy) at the airstrip, I knew right away we were in for a great time. Ernny was very kind and made us feel at ease right away. You just felt like you knew him right away. He arranged for our assigned guide (KT) to pick us up half way between the airport and the camp so we could get out on a game drive right away. He took our bags and gave us our guide. KT, our guide, was very knowledgable and it was awesome to watch him work and track animals. Every game drive and the boat cruise got better and better with each one. We saw way more animals than I expected to including lions, elephants, leopard, hippos, crocs, giraffe, countless different kinds of antelopes, birds and reptiles. We thoroughly enjoyed each drive and saw tons of animals. KT was very, very good.
