Dive Insurance provides coverage if you are unable to dive due to sickness or injury. Protect yourself and your travel investment before you finalize your trip plans. It’s worth it.
Scuba diving insurance is different than travel insurance. Dive Insurance provides coverage if you are unable to dive due to sickness or injury. We highly recommend that scuba divers purchase a separate annual dive insurance policy, such as Divers Alert Network (DAN) Dive Insurance or Dive Assure Dive Insurance. Your primary medical insurance may exclude scuba diving as a hazardous recreational activity and/or may not provide coverage when you are traveling out of the country. If it does provide coverage, it may pay only a minimal amount for chamber treatments or evacuation expenses related to a diving injury.
DAN is a not-for- profit 501(C)(3) organization that provides emergency medical advice and assistance for underwater diving injuries, and underwrites a wide range of research, education and training programs that promote safe diving. DAN is supported by more than 200,000 fellow divers with a further 60,000 international divers supporting DAN Europe, DAN Japan, DAN Southeast Asia Pacific and DAN Southern Africa.
All DiveAssure programs are exclusively primary and include 24/7 travel and medical emergency assistance services, along with over 25 additional medical and assistance services.
We strive to provide a comprehensive, unique and enjoyable experience with exclusive privileges. Each potential destination is thoroughly researched before being added to our travel itinerary, and is designed to offer good value and extra benefits that typically are not available to individual travelers.
