What is a Travel Visa?
A travel visa is an official government document that temporarily authorizes you to be in the country you are visiting. Many countries require a visa to gain entry. The visa usually is in the form of a stamp or sticker placed in the passport and is obtained from the country you are visiting.
Will I Need a Travel Visa?
It depends. Visa requirements differ based on the country or countries you plan to visit. Because there are so many variables associated with the country of citizenship, the country (or countries) of travel, and duration of stay in each country during your trip, we’ve decided it’s best to give you a tool to help you determine whether or not you will need a travel visa on your trip.
Mandatory International Travel Requirements
- A passport containing one blank visa page that is valid for 6 months past the date that you will enter the country
- Proof of sufficient funds
- Proof of onward or return flights
- All documents required for your next destination
