        About Wakatobi Dive Resort

Our intimate, eco-friendly resort is located in the Wakatobi archipelago in remote Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia where we are the only fully license dive tourism operator. The resort itself is situated on a small island locally called Onemobaa. Our island is beside Tomia Island, one of four major islands. The beautiful resort is built directly at the seaside, with all bungalows spaced along our exquisite beach.

Over the years Wakatobi’s grown from being a simple, remote outpost to a fully equipped resort offering comforts otherwise not associated with the best diving. Often you have to choose between comforts and diving quality. Well, not anymore!

Wakatobi now offers beautiful accommodations with fine appointments that will satisfy the most discriminating traveler! There are three levels of accommodation: One- and Two-Bedroom Villas, Ocean Bungalows and Palm Bungalows. All accommodations are spacious and available with either a king-size bed, and/or twin beds to sleep up to three adults or two adults and two children. All of our accommodations have a balcony in front as well as lounge chairs, tables and other furnishings. There is a desk with internet access, a mini-bar, and much more. All bungalows and villas are equipped with air-conditioning.

This 5 star award-winning luxury eco dive resort in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia is where you can enjoy a level of service, remoteness and tranquility rarely found anywhere else on the planet. Home of the world’s most pristine reefs, Wakatobi offers what many claim to be the “best diving in the world.”

Wakatobi Dive Resort welcomes rebreather divers.
